This seems to be a popular thing for people to say (mostly guys) about beautiful women. My wife is very cute and there is no shortage of guys who shake their heads confused disagreement as if to say she could do better, i.e. with them.

There are only so many billionaires and Brad Pitts to go around. I think Jack Whitehall is pretty cool, anyway.

Hate to say it, but yes your'e probably right... any celeb that dates a more famous celeb becomes more famous making more money, more offers etc... sad really

He is not bad looking, but he is nowhere near this chicks level

You see that quite a lot though - a stunning looking girl with an average/decent looking guy - and you think "wow he landed on his feet!". Having said that, with Jack Whitehall I can see the appeal - he's tall and has that dark hair/blue eyes combo that girls go for.

Most importantly, they're two adults of the opposite sex who like each other enough to want to spend a lot of time together. In proper relationships that's what matters.
