I think it's crazy that she can anonymously say anything she wants about him and potentially ruin his career over a bad date, but she isn't even willing to come out publicly. This is how the metoo movement will end, because it's turned into a with hunt free for all.

As for libel, Ansari has acknowledged her statements have merit by addressing the incident in his shows. That is why imo he has chosen not to appear in s3. I’m guessing he will work his way back in, gradually, but he realizes right now is just too soon for that.
