Magnus Vs Hans Niemann: The Rematch!

So today sees the biggest match of the year thus far as Carlsen and Hans Niemann go head to head in the Speed Chess semi-finals in Paris.

It's their highest profile encounter since the unsubstantiated cheating insinuations Magnus made against Hans almost exactly two years ago to the day.

Hasn't stock has risen considerably in the past few months as he's risen to 16th in the World and beaten a number of top players on his way to this match up.

Magnus ducked playing Hans last month in the World Team Rapid and Blitz but this time there is no hiding place as they are set to clash over a series of matches this evening.

Magnus will be the hot favourite but Niemann's actual top level remains unclear, given the fallout from the accusations, so it's going to be a very interesting match!
