I'm sorry, but when your teenage sister tells you that she's getting married to the father of her child, you have some sort of emotion. I don't know enough about this show to make a fair judgment about the character, but if you're a supposed good actress, you should be able to show the emotions that you inevitably feel without breaking character. I understand what people are saying about the way her character is supposed to be, but even the sarcastic teenager has feelings. This girl should try to show some.

The director instructs her how to play her character. We haven't seen her in anything else, so it is hard to judge how much of her range is India acting and how much is Ashley"s written character.
I think she is perfect. Perfectly written or perfectly acted, we don't know. Hopefully, it is both.

Amy is supposed to be marrying BEN, NOT the father, Ricky, anyway.
