Talented and born to play Chuck Bass

I'm surprised there are hardly any threads here about his acting ability. I think his acting on Gossip Girl is very underrated. When the show first started, I thought he and Leighton Meester were the best things about the show because they understood and embodied their characters so perfectly (I'm not talking about them together... this was before the whole Chuck-and-Blair phenomenon). Also, both physically and behavior-wise, he was exactly how I had imagined Chuck would be. Nate was the only other character whose actor fit his book description perfectly, imo.

Anyway, Ed is great in a lot of his other projects as well. He's always able to blend seamlessly into his roles. I think if more people would just give him a chance, he could be a major contender in Hollywood.
