Extremely dilated pupils in oblivion. Not natural.

She's clearly on something in Oblivion, her pupils are so extremely dilated it's almost all black. I'm guessing some pharmaceutical stims or something. It's so obvious she's on drugs, even in the light they're way too large.

She's probably a shrooming to get on the same level of crazy as tom cruise

I think its the effect the camera or studio has on her yes. It's not the first time its happened in one her acting roles.

It put me off the film because it's so distracting.

Don't you hate it when a signature looks like part of the post?

Yes. Let's all speculate that an actor "must be on drugs", when nothing else about her peformance or appearance suggests the same. And a tiny detail like pupil size or colour could be altered through the use of mere contact lenses, or even digitally in post production.

Drugs theory though. SEEMS LEGIT.

It's possible that they wanted her eyes to look like that for the film, maybe to add an element of unease when she is staring at the camera or Cruise.

I'm actually surprised I didn't notice it, because I have a couple of friends who tend to abuse illicit stimulants and it's something I recognize instantly in person.

Maybe she's one of those people with 'ADD', so she has to get buzzed on stimulants constantly otherwise she might have a bit of difficulty concentrating. I mean it makes sense getting addicted to neurotoxic psychostimulants is the best solution if you have minor behavioral issues.

Can't we just say that she has really large pupils naturally. Depending on the lighting ( or contact lenses) they look dark and big on a closeup.

I too noticed her eyes immediately and found them quite distracting, akin to a shark's.

David Mitchell has a very similar thing, if you look closely at his eyes. Very black and/or dilated.
