Beautiful But Slightly Glassy Eyed

Massive pupils. Like a cat.

Most beautiful pupils ever!

I saw Oblivion this afternoon, and her pupils are HUGE! They were so big that I thought either they have her wearing contact lenses or she was on some drug that dilates pupils. Very odd, very noticeable, but it could have been part of her "makeup" for the movie. I have never seen her in anything else, so I can't compare her pupils from another movie.

Andrea Riseborough has large eyes to begin with but her aqua-blue irises seemed so huge that I also wondered if she was wearing contact lenses.

I think her performance was exactly how the character was written. She was living the sheltered life she wanted to live, with blissful ignorance.

I found her pupils unusually large, so I just looked her up and her photos here don't look like they did in the movie--I imagine it was a choice to have her eyes like that for the role. Freaky!

I just came back to add this--maybe they did that to her eyes and had the lovely Olga Kurylenko without make-up to keep the spotlight on Cruise! LOL

I had expected her to turn out to be an android in Oblivion due to the strangeness of her eyes. They were rather inhuman.
