Dark Skies poor movie choice for Dakota

Watching this movie right now. Does not do his acting abilities justice. Coming off of Real Steel which while not an oscar winning film by any stretch allowed him to show off some range with acting ability. In Dark Skies he is just wasted. Him choosing to do a horror or thriller wasn't a bad choice, but he should have waited for one that he could stand out. Here he comes across as just flat.

Really? For a child actor I thought he did excellent in Dark Skies. He was very believable.
