If he wasn't such a jerk, it might be sad to see that his career went nowhere and is basically over.

Other young actors should take note of Dakota and do the opposite.

Whoever advised him that being a steroid looking monster at 15 years old was good for an up and coming actor should be ashamed. Awful career move. Just awful. He should have rode the youthful look for as long as he could.

And being a jerk doesn't help. He's once again complaining about not having enough twitter followers when all he does is treat them like dirt and gives nothing of himself .

His instagram body building pic/videos are embarrassing. Screaming and grunting like a mad man. He looks unnatural. Again it totally ruined any casting opportunities. There's not many movies where a 15 or 16 year old is supposed to look like a muscle bound freak and all the negative effects it has his face.

He's going to be left with no career and only his jerk friends.

Dakota Goyo = what not to do for an actor.

Sorry but it seems that Goyo's career is going nowhere. It's true, sadly. His last film came out 2014 and he has still NO new projects lined up.

Does he fail to impress casting directors or has he taken a time out?

It's a shame for someone with his talent.

It's bogus to say there's no roles for teenage males.

I repeat whoever gave him the idea that going for the roided up look was a good idea is an idiot. Whether it was him or his dad or his agent...pure stupidity.

Not many roles for 16 year olds who look like they are on steroids.

Career wise, he should have kept the youthful teen look he had in Dark Skies.

That's a big reason why his career is on life support.

You even went so far as to say you hoped he fell off his horse and broke him neck.

Actually, I said it would be good karma if he fell off the horse and knocked himself out. A little temporary humiliation and humbleness is good for an arrogant jerk like Dakota. I said nothing about hoping for a broken neck.

You keep saying he looks "roided up"...you clearly don't know what that looks like.

I guess you're hoping anyone reading doesn't actually see any pics of him. I think any objective person would say this look qualifies as the "roided up" look:

Complete with veins popping out! He's frigging 16.

I wouldn't agree that all your list of other actors had successful careers after they went for the musclebound look. And Max Thieriot is 11 years older than Dakota (27) and actually had his role in his current show before he went all musclebound. I would argue that it didn't help and he didn't do it at 15 like Dakota.

There aren't many movie roles about 15 year olds who look like they're training for a body building competition.

I don't care if you think his career is dead. You can make up whatever you want.

The facts speak for themselves. Roles have dried up. You can act like it's all of his choosing but it sounds really bogus to anyone objective. Oh he just isn't interested in being in movies right now......yeah sure.
