No one is talking about True Detective?

I can't be the only fan excited about seeing him this coming Sunday.

You're not. 😀

You're not, I can't wait for TD!

It's going to be refreshing to see him shut his haters up. You know the ones who said he can't act or has no screen presence.

No! You are not alone! Can't wait.

Watching it right now! They cut his hair - no!!

I never had a problem with his hair short but it seemed a bit too short during that first episode of TD. IT was very distracting. His hair looked visibly longer in the promo pictures from HBO.

I'm excited to see how this season unfolds. I'm really not that interested in comparing this season to last year. The critics seem to expect it to be better than what the cast, the director and the writer Nic Pizzalato achieved the first time round.

I'm willing to experience TD2 as its own thing. I'm a big Colin Farrell fan too and what I've seen from him thus far is very impressive. Taylor's character we know the least about so far and I gotta say he unnerves me a lot. He seems very dangerous and nihilistic.

Critics and people who act like they're critics also don't seem to understand what they're watching. They're expecting the realism of season 1, when it's obvious (at least to me) that they're going a different route for season 2. It looks like they're paying homage to classic noir.

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I agree with this. Something about Paul Woodrugh is definitely disturbing, I can't put my finger on it.

I haven't seen S1, so I couldn't compare if I wanted to, which is good, I guess. Taylor was great in tonight's episode, I'm glad they are developing his character.
