He's cute, but I was really taken aback when I first heard him speak in '21 Jump Street'. Was he putting on an act? Because the way he talked, he sounded like he had a learning disability or something

shareHe honestly spoke in such a monotone/creepy/evil voice he nearly sounded like some kind of conniving date rapist or child molester...don't get me wrong he was hilarious in it but I just didn't get his voice.
Especially when he said stuff like "What are you guys, narcs?" or "You guys don't care about the environment? That's *beep* up." I nearly got shivers down my spine...such a sniveling-voiced schemer.
I think he sounds the same in everything he's played in. I think he sounds like he's ghetto, but somehow I tend to believe its a California thing.
