People should let Dave Franco be his own man

I notice the media obviously focus a lot on James being Dave's older brother because he is more famous. It is sometimes tough for actors who have siblings who are more famous than they are. But it seems like Dave is taking it well, working hard trying his best and that's all he can really do.

However, Dave is coming into his own he had a breakthrough with 21 Jump Street and I think the media need to let him be his own man. I wish Dave Franco a lot of success.

i don't think of james when i watch him. and though i love james franco i think dave franco is a pretty good actor all on his own. i enjoy watching him on screen.

I have to say that everytime he gets interviewed by someone they always ask him if James is Dave's older brother. I mean I understand why they ask it but lately it's getting annoying. Dave is Dave and not James. I enjoy watching both of them, but each have differences about them. And I can see how it's hard for him to make a name for himself when you have a sibling in the same business who is better known.

If someone does something similar to someone they're related to, the connections people make are inevitable. It's sad but true. Riley Lynch (David Lynch's son) is going into filmmaking, and he's going to suffer with relentless comparison. Dave Franco has just come to prominence recently, and James has been in the public eye for a longer period of time. I agree that people should be looked at individually, but it just doesn't happen.
