How about you LEARN some slang (which IS English,mind you) and find out what the hell this person is saying? I'll translate: "Stop trying to act ghetto,girl--you're from the islands." Now is THAT not English? Yes, the hell it is. I'm tired of WHITE folks (and damn near everybody else,including black folks) acting like African-American slang is some "gutter" English just because Y'ALL (that's an old Southern slang term which is the contraction of the words "you" and "all") can't understand it, and don't even try to. Pick up a damn slang dictionary (they exist, I've seen them) or ask a black person what these new terms mean, and stop acting like you're so damn superior and smarter because you speak perfect English--you're NOT. Even white people have their own damn slang, but I don't EVER see anybody describing it is "gutter" or "garbage". The point of slang in general is that it's a language of subcultures within a society that the mainstream ISN'T supposed to understand in the first damn place--that keeps you the hell out of that particular subculture's business, which is the idea.

Why don't you pick a battle that actually affords your effort that you put into this? Why don't you check out some of the OP's posts and you'll see that he is kind of racist and doesn't use this type of slang that much. If the mainstream isn't supposed to understand it then why would you use it on the imdb forums???? You think that was the OP's intent, to write in a slang so no one would understand it? Or do you think most of imdb can understand his slang? If so, then you contradict yourself. Idiot.
