That's all for show, or didn't you realize? Her music videos, her live performances, all the sexual imagery there is designed to appeal to heterosexual men, get them aroused and so on. Besides, how do you know she's not expressing that she has a fantasy of BEING one of those strippers? It seems to me that her videos and performances are all about sexual fantasy, so maybe she has a deep dark desire to get on the pole. Who knows? But I think it's unlikely that she's saying she wants to be with these strippers sexually.

I get that but what about appealing to women? Half of her fans are women. I don't understand.

I really think the imagery in her videos is designed to fit a theme of female sexual empowerment. That's the motif that's constantly repeated. Putting hot guys in her videos wouldn't fit with her style.

How it is empowerment? I find it degrading and many agree with me. It was having you cleared things up for me.
