Bitch Better...Get A Brain.

Rihanna is not doing herself any favors with her current garbage she calls music. I get it-attention and money is all that matters to a lot of the so-called-singers these days but It's beyond stupid seeing these pop star millionaires trying to sell some moronic, wannabe-hard, hood rat image. "Bitch Better Have My Money" has to be one of the dumbest songs I have ever heard(one that this industry puppet didn't even write) and the nasty video is not a smart thing to be putting out there, especially from someone who got the s|hit kicked out of her years ago. This girl seriously needs better people around her when making decisions. If you wanted to be seen as trash Rihanna-you're succeeding with flying f|ucking colors.

I completely agree. Rihanna has some stupid songs but they're catchy and have had somewhat of an interest element to them, in the past. Her two new songs are complete garbage, to be honest. I hate to come here and spread "hate" but I honestly feel very disappointed with her so call "creative" direction in her music career. She stated that she wanted to make timeless music and she comes out with B Better Have My Money, which is beyond stupid. First of all, that's all she says throughout the song, which it feels like a scratched record playing the same line over and over to music that is actually not catchy or fun at all. The song overall is a HUGE disappointment. At least her previous songs were catchy and even had good beats to them. Her American Oxygen seemed like it could have a lot of potential but Rihanna is on that stage in her career where she has no idea how to keep going up and how to stay up so she's throwing some simple garbage stuff out there in hopes that people will see it as pure art and feel inspired. Umbrella and Diamonds will by far be considered more of timeless music than BBHMM.

Also, while I'm at it, I would like to throw in her horrific music video which was not artistic at all.

I do like Rihanna and honestly really liked her albums from Good Girl Gone Bad all the way to Unapologetic. I thought they were good albums and I could listen to the songs and find them fun and catchy. I can't see my self listening to this new album which clearly has a completely different Rihanna than what I'm used to.

What is this obsession with singers writing their own songs? People act like siongwriters who write for others never existed.

No obsession. It's obviously not obligatory for singers. Plenty of people have song♪writers for them and that's fine. You don't have to write all of your own songs (especially if you suck at songwriting) but if you're going to have people write songs for you, then you might want those songs to actually be good ones. That song was F|ucking pathetic with stupid lyrics and the video was try-hard/trashy. That being said it is much more impressive when artists actually write their own stuff or are at least involved in the process. It requires more talent ~
