time for RavenGlamDVDCollector to speak up

Years ago, Rihanna was a bright new starlet, something fresh and classy. Huge hits, like SHUT UP AND DRIVE, PLEASE DON'T STOP THE MUSIC, Hey Mr. D.J. won't you turn the music on, she rocked! DISTURBIA was aptly named, but I wouldn't have thought it signaled what was to come... Then noticed she continued to change her look and donned what looked like a red wig and I witnessed a much harsher, less feminine trend. Which quickly became a downward spiral. I then saw Rihanna only on the compilation discs I bought for the sake of other artists, and all of her videos manifested these dark influences. Substance abuse came to mind. There's that song about surrendering to the bottle of Jameson before the bastards get you down, a total anthem to being a down & out loser. She was a ghost of her former self by the time of DIAMONDS...

Recently took a peek at WORK, which is, apparently, hugely popular. Please tell me, though, people, what you find so fascinating in this trainwreck? She looks like she's on a swimming pool full of dope, and she sounds pathetically downbeat, like just exactly that.

At the rate she is sliding backwards, the deterioration doesn't have far to go. Wake up!

Another Amy Winehouse looming?

I leave it to her true fans, and friends, to heed my warning and damn well intervene.
