Hot!
I can't be the only one who finds him incredibly sexy right?
shareI concur
shareSmoking hot. Wow those eyes. Awesome!!!
shareSwoon-worthy!
You know what, Dad? Peter's gay. GAAAAAY!
I wanna lick his face.
shareThere are not that many beautiful men but he is one of them.
shareI'm quite sure I hadn't seen him until The Night Of. And frankly in the first couple of episodes I found him unattractive. Scrawny, face too angular. Then I wonder if the cast and crew went on sabbatical so he could bulk up for his later prison scenes.
Becuase suddenly his body was ripped, his face lost its gauntness... And hot damn. All I could think was, I'd like to run into this dude in a prison cell where he'd have his way with me (which would be the way I'd want it, too, lol)
I'm quite sure I hadn't seen him until The Night Of. And frankly in the first couple of episodes I found him unattractive. Scrawny, face too angular. Then I wonder if the cast and crew went on sabbatical so he could bulk up for his later prison scenes. There wasn't a 'sabbatical' in order for Riz Ahmed to "bulk up".
The pilot episode, was filmed in 2012, with the late James Gandolfini in the role John Turturro later took over, Stone, Naz' lawyer. Gandolfini's scenes with Riz were simply re-shot with Turturro. The first episode was the actual pilot, with a much thinner Riz.
When James Gandolfini suddenly died from a heart attack... filming was halted and the series was put on hold. Robert DeNiro was going to portray Stone, but scheduling conflicts wouldn't allow him to take the role.
John Turturro was hired and accepted the role of Stone. I'm glad John took the role, because I cannot imagine DeNiro being as good as John Turturro was as Stone.
When HBO decided to pick up the series, it was years later. That certainly gave Riz enough time to "bulk up" for the prison scenes and, of course, to show Naz' transformation from naive college student to newly minted prison thug with a serious heroin habit.
Also, "The Night Of.." was a very long shoot, about 8 months, certainly enough time for any performer to exercise and gain weight.
A bit OT: there was one scene where Riz appears to be wearing a wig! The scene might have needed to be re-shot after he shaved his head on screen. His hair in that scene just doesn't look right. Many times, films and TV series are not filmed in the order of the story telling.
Just watched him in Dead Set. The one character I cared about!
