Ugly people...wow

So many people out there are just really ugly..why does her weight mean anything to the kind of person she is? Why do people have to make it such an issue? She is a very beautiful woman and I love her on this is us. I adapted and attracted to her character right away. She was just very real. Her struggle is real. I love her and Tony together. Her singing time after time blew me away. She is one of the many reasons I like this show. To anyone who struggles in life really gets her and relates to her.

I give a pass (of sorts) to kids that make these unkind comments. After all, that's what kids are like. Adults, on the other hand, should be ashamed of themselves. She's a very good actress, I love her role in This Is Us, and I honestly think it takes guts and courage to play a role such as this. Kudos to her!

You judge people for judging her based on her weight yet you start off with a rant about ugly people. You sound just as shallow and bigoted as those you rail against!

Because high weight can usually be linked to depression and a lack of self esteem. Hence why many triglypuffs exist in the US.

And it can be linked to heart disease, diabetes. And yet that's something to be proud of?

Exactly! People can be so judgmental and hateful toward a person they've never met just because they're overweight or not up to the standards based on society. Or because some people are just downright ugly. Chrissy Metz could be the coolest or the sweetest person you'll ever meet but because people can be so ugly they don't seem to care about what's on the outside.
