She's too familiar looking (looks like three already Big name Actresses).

The same thing happened to Miranda Eowyn and Michelle Monaghan despite getting cast over and over again in high profile movies.

I don't think she was ever going to play the Hollywood game - in all her interviews you can see she's far too grounded for that. She priotized having a family, which is admirable. She definitely doesn't lack talent, although some of her career choices haven't been the best.
