I think "Invisible Touch" is the group's undisputed masterpiece.
It's an epic meditation on intangibility.

shareRecently I bought the early album Foxtrot as a good example of Prog Rock at it's finest. Haven't listened to it yet. I feel like I'm waiting for the perfect moment, and how often does that come along, haha?
shareI've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album "Duke." Before that I didn't really understand any of their work. It was too artsy ... too intellectual.
shareYou could be right. I like stuff that sounds intellectual. Am a big ELP and Yes fan, as well as early Floyd, but there still has to be a hook, like a good pop song.
Collins was tremendously successful after Gabriel (although it didn't happen overnight) so I doubt he cares about the naysayers (like me).
A very interesting band, needless to say.
