ANXIETY DISORDERS

If this series does anything I hope it sheds light on how truly devastating anxiety disorders are for the people who from them and that maybe some of the millions made by the people associated with it maybe a some of that goes towards research funding to help find a cure. This illness is insidious, invisible and heartbreaking to live with. We who suffer from it know our lives will be shortened, that not all of us can be fixed with therapies or medications currently available and that we will likely die of heart failure or stroke. Not all of us are lucky enough to know the cause. This can happen to anyone regardless of age and at any point in our lives.

I have severed with depression and anxiety disorder since I was 12yrs old . Meds regulate fairly well but I have episodes. Which at this time I'm experiencing some s/s. So before conditions get worse I'm looking to enter facility so we can hopefully change up some of my meds. This will be first time in over 20yrs that I've had to go in pt so they can better regulate meds. I know I will have at least 1 med change and possible 1 new med added. I'm a nurse I'm unable to work due physical issues. Which I'm positive has contributed to increase in my depression and increase in anxiety. If there a charity I would love to donate. Living most of my life with this issues I feel I've been very successful controlling with limited meds diet therapy at times . I raised 3 kids by myself got my degree in nursing at age 40 I've don't pretty good I think. I tell my grandkids I'm going in for a tune up. Thank u for allowing me to speak about this. Being a nurse I'm not ashamed or hide the facts but I've been very blessed. My concern is now that I can't work that things get worse but I've lived with it this long I pray I have few yrs left.
