He was bashed the first time around thanks to Fifty. This time around, I think he rose to the challenge and managed to come out looking better than before, which should go a long way, considering. Loosening the reign to allow him to put a little of his own personality into that character was a great choice. I think he did great.
But, there were times I wish he could've just had a fully loaded stare rather than the dialogue, like the scene when Ana asks, 'Are you going to stand there watching?'. I think instead of saying anything, he would've done better with a hint of a smile, then letting it fall, allowing the desire on his face to speak for itself. In some cases, it's sexier to imagine what someone's thinking rather than it being described in every detail.
Sexiness resides in the mystery, not necessarily in the reveal. Sometimes a look is more telling than words could ever be.
