punishment for Mr. Musk?
shareHis "punishment" will be receiving more corporate wellfare from tax payers money to compensate for the massive losses Tesla suffers from sales numbers crashing all over the world.
sharethat is short term , though he may flee if any punishment happens

He's the richest man in the world only on paper and only as long as the value of Tesla shares remains what it is.
With sales going down the only way how he could keep the value of the shares up is buying them himself and that he can only do with money he gets from corporate wellfare, where the US is the only country on earth paying an amount of corporate wellfare large enough for Musks needs.
Furthermore Musk depends on a government putting tariffs on cheaper electric cars from China, or else his sales would go even further down.
Running away would bankrupt Tesla and ruin Musk.
