I start to think the law is really just a joke, or a tool of the elites, if they can do this, or ban political candidates like Trump.

Is there really free election? Or free press? Like ever?

You are confusing Alternative Media with Fake News Disinformation.

Social media are not great at general regarding propaganda. But since Musk took over and declared "no bans and no censorship" - he opened floodgate of fake news.

russian, hamas and other terrorists groups flooded twitter with their propaganda. Bloggers on paychek lie around and spread propaganda for whoever payed them. It's not just trumpists in USA. Its other countries in Europe and all over the world. And people read it and believe. Not knowing its lies and propaganda. And Musk, as owner, should be responsible for content that is on his platform

They really should have allowed to sue Twitter and other platforms everytime some person have been lied about and his life and work being destroyed over that. After paying billions in damages - Musk would understand why Watch must be implemented. And why you can't spread lies.

Those Community notes always perfectly showcase when some "blogger" with millions of readers post blatant lies like it's a fact. And then very easily people expose them for being lies and fake news. While many people believe its true and start spreading it around.

It ain't "free speech" hon. This is what you and Musk don't understand.

I'll try to explain in the most simple way. Imagine you came yo work and you are being fired because your co-worker said you stole something from work. And you didn't and try to explain you were out of town that day anyway. And your boss says: "Well, Tommy wrote on his Twitter that you did and I believe him. So - take your stuff and fuck off".

That ia fake news and propaganda. You didn't steal anything but Tommy wrote you did. And others spread it around.

No, somebody decides what is to be regarded as "facts", and often they lie. "Fact Checking" has become a joke. At this point it's nothing more than vetting to confirm correct ideological positioning.

We get mostly fake news from the mainstream news media (CNN, NPR, MSNBC, NYT, etc.), the leftists in government, academia, and various government-backed "experts". I'd rather let them all have their say, no matter how stupid or dishonest it is, and use my own intelligence and bullshit radar to sort it out for myself, than have anybody shut down by government.

Just like Trump - he is very stupid. Both of them could play their game smart and achieve what they wanted quietly.

Trump could build his wall and other things by just giving orders to his party to vote for. But he had to be arrogant, full of himself and behave like crazy lunatic to the point when democrats got so scared that they have Mad King in power that they did everything they could to remove him. And he was kicked out on the dumpster of history.

Elon Musk could buy twitter, end censorship and banning, and be done with it. But he started his "reign" with behaving crazy, implementing new and stupid changes, write and retweet nonsense and go into politics and here he is - company lost half its worth and he whines that it can go bankrupt because advertisers left his crazy ass.

He graduated with a BSc in physics and a BA in economics. After graduation, Musk moved to California to pursue a PhD in energy physics, but he left the course in just two days and launched his first company, Zip2, in 1995.

Twitter was into politics for years and spread fake news for years. when people complained they were silenced and deleted from twitter.

Musk is one of those people who can count numbers well. But then can't go to grocery store and take their kid to kindergarden.

He can't think for himself. That's why all his non-space and Tesla actions backfire. You can see it in his twitter page. He rarely writes anything by himself. He just retweets thoughts of other people by agreeing with them. He lets other people to think for him.

He can't make conclusions. If those trumpist bloggers he follows will tomorrow start writing that Earth is flat - he will say: "Huge if true. Concerning" and start believing it.

That's why he was universally adored while he build rockets and teslas. Was praised as pioneer and genius. And then he got into politics and made himself clown and now everyone despises him. Apart from his fanboys who live in moms basement and think he is their friend. And russian terrorists of course.

Trump and his trump minions are literally russian assets and are moments away from officially pledging their loyalty to russia and scream "Heil putin". LOL.

I actually thought that democrats are exaggerating when they starts this whole "Russia collusion". It was hard to believe Trump and republicans could be traitors. But here we are years later and everything is confirmed. Republicans literally blocked whole congress and wanted government payed workers to stay without pay. And kicked their own republican speaker. All on russian orders to stop aid to Ukraine.

So that "Russia collusion" was literally true all along.

And its not about USA. World is not revolving around American problems. Basically from every country there are piles of propaganda with fake news from whoever wants whatever. And Musk just opened floodgate and let everyone do what they want. That's why they want to close his propaganda source if he will not stop censor propaganda and fake news.
