He's pro UBI (Universal Basic Income)
I agree with him
shareSo does Mark Zuckerberg, but the interesting thing is that both have a history of using the US tax code to pay little or no personal federal income taxes. And neither do the companies they own.
You see they suppose UBI, just not with their money. There is a word got used a lot for things like that, called OPM (Other People's Money).
Universal basic income just produces a class of people with no hope of improving themselves.
A policy like that only works if the entire world does it, otherwise the countries that don't implement it will have a marked advantage of outproducing goods and outclassing high technology sectors.
It depends on how much high it is. If its like, just 600 dollars at month,it barely makes you survive so you will still need to work to have something more (and we live in a consumist society so people will always want more),but at least some money are guaranteed and i think that would be good, and also needed, because there is a big economic crisis, and technology is making many jobs disappear like never before

Those costs, regardless of how modest, have to be paid for. Prosperity never comes with high taxes.
