Jessica Stroup is not anorexic
I'm tired of idiots saying celebrities like Jessica Stroup are "too skinny" or "scary skinny" and then proceed to diagnose them with an eating disorder. 90% of these people are jealous, overweight girls that are in denial and the other 10% are generic people with an opinion they think is a fact. People seriously have no idea what an eating disorder is. When 2/3 of the U.S. population is fat it's easy to be confused about what is healthy. In this country there is a big difference between "normal" and "healthy" - normal is now overweight and therefore normal is NOT healthy. Just because somebody is skinny doesn't mean they have an eating disorder. In fact, chances are they're more healthy than 95% of the population - especially the people that complain about them. It's pretty sad that it's gotten to a point where healthy, thin women are labeled as having something wrong with them because they aren't overweight like the average American. Quit wasting your time acting like a jealous idiot - spend that time exercising and working towards living a healthy life so that maybe some day you can be happy with yourself.
Believe it or not people aren't meant to have excess fat hanging on their bodies. Fat hanging over the waist of your jeans and flabby arms is not healthy (nor attractive.) The obesity epidemic is a product of our lifestyle. This country is filled with lazy, overeating slobs who make constant excuses for themselves. "I don't have time to exercise" "I just have a slow metabolism" "I have bad genes" "I'm happy with my overweight body, there's nothing wrong with it, and everybody else should be happy with it too" "The only way to lose weight is to develop an eating disorder" etc. The United States is the most advanced country in the world yet we have the highest rate of health-related issues (almost all due to people being overweight) and is no longer even in the top 50 countries for life expectancy. The U.S. outspends any other country on health care, yet we still aren't healthy. I honestly think healthy people who aren't overweight deserve tax breaks and insurance premium discounts. Overweight people cost this country hundreds of billions of dollars every year. We're living in the fattest country IN THE WORLD, we're slowly becoming the joke of the world, and there are magazine covers, newspaper articles, and people posting on Internet forums and blogs complaining about models and celebrities that are too skinny. Do you have any idea how hilarious that is?
Why is it that overweight people are supposed to feel good about themselves? They have a problem, they need to realize that, and take care of it. How difficult is it to take care of your body? I'm sick of people talking about how larger female celebrities are great role models for girls and the thin, fit celebrities are terrible role models and cause eating disorders. People in the United States have no idea how rare true eating disorders are. I'm not saying they're no big deal - people who have gone through them or have friends/family that have gone through them know it's no joke - but lets be serious. The real eating disorder we should be concerned with is overeating...and to make matters worse it's generally combined with a lack of exercise.
People need to stop this stupid trend of accusing people of having eating disorders because they are thin. Did anybody consider that perhaps it's because they eat healthy, and/or exercise, and/or have a high metabolism, and/or have a smaller frame, and/or have that body type in their genes? It's clear that nobody has any idea what anorexia is.
Jessica Stroup is hot, thin, fit, and, unlike nearly 70% of the rest of the U.S. population, completely healthy.
