Portia Bellefleur

Uh yeah, no. I don't see how this woman can be playing Portia. The books say that she is built as squarely as her brother, why do they have to make every bigger woman from a book into a freaking stick on tv? I'm not saying that they should have someone that is huge, but someone with meat on her bones for goodness sakes.

Now I haven't seen anything that this woman has been in, and I am not judging her. I will wait until after I have seen her perform on my favorite show. Then I will make judgement's accordingly. Just like I have with other cast members that I don't think work.

Just wanted to get that out since I just saw whom was portraying Portia.

Totally agree! She's FAR too hot to be playing Portia. Portia is supposed to be a bigger woman who has trouble finding a partner. I think we can safely say that Courtney Ford wouldn't ever have troubles finding a partner.

Its sad, I was looking forward to seeing a woman play Portia that had just a little bit of chub.

Okay good I thought I was crazy, it's going to be weird seeing someone attractive play Portia. But the show has been fairly creative with people's roles (Tara, Eggs, etc), so maybe Portia's character is going to be different from the books.

Obviously very different and obviously this actress should've been made to wear a fat suit if she was the best actress talentwise for the part--especially considering they have the special effects people from makeup on the job already and wouldn't have to pay them extra. At the very least make them half siblings and not full siblings or it comes off as even more ridiculous. This actress and her make believe brother looked nothing alike in body type or face.
