King of fake injuries
When he's winning, there are no to injuries.
When things not going his way, suddenly there are injuries out of blue.
Great tennis player, very very bad sportmanship.

He has Mueller Weiss syndrome.

It's a chronic problem. It's there when he loses, it's there when he wins, and it's there the rest of the time. He trains with painkillers. There's no cure.
He started a radio frequency ablation treatment. That targets the nerve which stops working for some months. It won't cure it, but it can eliminate the pain.

There has been some issues about it.
Nadal usually plays with anti-inflammatory drugs, but the pain has increased to a point where they're not enough. The trainer asked permission to use anesthetic injected in the left foot, but it wasn't allowed. That's why they're gonna try the radio frequency ablation treatment.

There was injury before, during and after the match.
His entire body has been a collection of injuries over the years.
Win or lose.

Of course he wouldn't. There are just some people who -- for whatever reason -- constantly accuse Nadal of feigning injury.
Imagine -- one of the all time fiercest competitors in the history of sports quitting without genuinely being hampered by injury. It's absurd.
You mean he is Serena Williams'ing?
