If anybody on these boards knows Steven or has an agent link to him .. for gods sake get him to try out for Alcide Herveraux.
This show is exactly what his career needs, and the character intertwins in so many books, he would be perfect!

I personally think Steven is best suited to play Claude since he's really, really, good looking. Six feet tall with black hair and dark brown eyes, looks like he should be on the cover of romance novels...sounds like Steven Strait to me. IDK if Claude will be on the show but if he is and they don't get Steven, I'll be truly bummed. Alcide was described as attractive but in a more rugged, less obvious sort of way than I see Steven...plus Steven just looks too damn much like Jacob from Twilight to be playing a werewolf on True Blood.
sharesteven is fine and great actor but love the actor they hired for the role - he is definitely eye-candy but more importantly he's a good actor and fits the role very well and his chem w/Anna/Sookie is off the charts HOT HOT HOT !! I do want to see Steven in MORE supernatural roles, bc he does them so well; maybe he could head over to "The Gates" and/or "Vampire Diaries.

I would love to see Steven in more stuff, too.
But I think he would have been too young for the role of Alcide.
