Have you noticed the fetishizing of vigilantes ?

On the one hand we have this Mangione fellow lionized by many as a sort of Jesse James populist hero for anyone with a (legitimate, mainly) beef w/ the US healthcare system ?

on the other Vance/Trump lionizing a man who choked to death an insane fellow on the subway (Vance invited him to his box at the Army/Navy Game).

Its all fairly detestable.

The fetishization of criminals by the left is par for the course but only when they have a six pack and Kum gutters because the dude that tried to assassinate President Trump was regarded as the incel that Mangioni is because he looked like a schlub …. It reminds of the libtards that went gaga over a light skinned black criminal’s mugshot who happened to have light blue eyes and many claimed he should be a model even with three tear drop tats

When it comes to Daniel Penny, had he been black marine he wouldn’t have even been indicted

Thanks for your MAGAtty diatribe. What would we do without them

The homeless man was NOT innocent. Wikipedia and others:

Neely had an extensive criminal record, including 42 arrests on charges including petty larceny, jumping subway turnstiles, theft, and three unprovoked assaults on women in the subway between 2019 and 2021.

I never said he was. I did say he was insane. The man who killed him knew -nothing- about his rap sheet.

It was -not- necessary to kill him in order to subdue him. You will forgive me if I choose not to celebrate the killing, or the man who did the killing - is that the behavior we want to model for the citizenry ? Think it through, try to keep the politics out of it.

Chances are you would have cowered like a little cowardly fæggœt and let him commit violence on anyone on that train as ,ong as it wasn’t you … Daniel didn’t need to know his “rap sheet” since the savage made his intentions clear …and like I said had Daniel Penny been black this would have been the same results as the Jordan Williams stabbing of Devictor Ouedraogo

You probably will discount this, but I was a Special Forces Marine, long ago. Probably before you were born, assuming you are hopefully a young fool rather than an old, with some chance yet for education/correction/reformation.

Your disconnect, other than being a MAGAtty bumptious sort and thusly willfully ignorant, is that subduing someone posing a threat, which would have been praiseworthy, is not at all the same thing as killing them.

This, for most people with any sense, is not a difficult distinction to make, as I have, or understand, though you do not. Let me make it simpler - its not cool to kill people unnecessarily. Or, at any rate, to be celebrated for it after.
