I am amazed how quickly he was arrested

Yeah, everyone is equal before the law my arse.

When a rich and important man is killed public service suddenly becomes very efficient.

I think the fact that it was a pre-meditated murder adds a lot to the public interest aspect of the story.

It becomes interesting because now everyone wants to know WHY. What is the story behind it? What is the conflict so immense that it seems worthy of murder in a lunatic's mind?

I think the same level of drama would have been initiated had it been a Pharma CEO, Oil, Tech, etc. Or a celebrity or other high-profile figure. The "assassination" aspect is automatically gripping.

But if he had just been caught in crossfire, or robbery gone wrong, I don't think it would have been as big a story that so many people were glued to.

reply

Everyone already knew why, from the bullets.

Everyone wanted him to get away with it.

Of course the police of the entire US is mobilised, just look where he was caught, to catch him.

Not sure what far-left sources you're getting your news from, but I disagree. I'm not a fan of murder. All of my friends wanted the bastard caught before he killed someone else.

Of course the police of the entire US is mobilised, just look where he was caught.

No idea what this means. He was identified by a civilian, and the local police showed up to question him. He was caught about 300 miles (that's 485km in your language) from New York City. I don't think there had been many "mobilised" [sic] US police forces yet.

reply

This is not a left or right wing issue, because both sides are backed by billionaires.

It is not like CNN is cheering for the guy.

Maybe only in India and middle east where the truth is allowed to be reported.

In US truth is clearly a far left thing.

Corporate America is having none of it.

I'm amazed it took as long as it did. They had clear facial shots of the douche.

That photo of course went national, and the guy then was arrested because someone saw him at a restaurant, in Pennsylvania.

Do you know when a half arsed photo going national how many tips like that police will receive? They must have spent a huge amount of human resource on those leads, in a very timely fashion.

Do you really think they would do that for just anyone?

reply

A very wealthy, ivy league educated, and highly privileged member of the elite was also the arrestee. If the rich and important were applying investigatory and prosecutorial resources in an inequitable way to benefit their own (as you imply), they would have arrested a poor, powerless person from a minority race as a scapegoat.

reply

The move was never about protecting one individual, it is about protecting a social class.

It is not like if you are a rich person they won't target you, just look at Trump.

Bin Laden was the son of important Arab family, which was an important American ally.

But I think crashing those planes into world trade centre was the problem.

If the plane crashed into a ghetto, things might have worked out differently for him.

EDIT: If Luigi Mangione were a serial killer, killing homeless at night, I doubt they would drop his goFundMe page. I bet it would be "innocence before guilty".

reply

All these years later I'm not completely convinced that Bin Laden was really the sole mastermind of 9-11. He probably had a hand in it and claimed credit for it, I'm sure, but that sort of thing was way too complex of a plot for just some guys hiding off-grid in Afghanistan to put together. I'd wager the Saudis or some other government of a wealthy middle-eastern country which will not be mentioned, but had a lot to gain from more war in the region, had something to do with it, but I'm sure we'll never know.

reply

But like I said Bin Laden family was an important friend of US government. George W. Bush gave special permission when every aircraft was grounded, to have a plane chartered to send all members of Bin Laden family out of the US immediately after 11/9, according to "Fahrenheit 11/9".

That is how important Bin Laden family was.

They won't point fingers at them unless the elites were so united for answers.

So it was him, there is no doubt in my mind.
