Please don't end up being Adam Sandlers b*tch

He's been in That's my boy and now in this Transylvania movie. He actually has more talent than that. I've noticed how before becoming Adam Sandlers friends, the other guys had more of a career.

Transylvania getting good reviews and That's My Boy was the funniest of the year. I think Sandler needs the fresh blood more than him, but I wouldn't mind if they were in films more often.

That's My Boy might've been funny (Too you) but it bombed at the theaters and was critically disliked.

Now he's gonna be in Growns Up 2... Cause the first was so great [roll eyes]

Critics have panned eevery Sandler film. Grown Ups was a huge box office success and I didn't think it was anywhere near as funny as That's My Boy. When critics like movies like 'Bridesmaids', I decided it was time to form my own opinions (especially when it came to comedies)

Glad Samberg is going to be in Grown Ups 2, even if it's just a small part. Heard the other Lonely Island guys will be in it as well. Let's just hope the writing is better, and it actually follows a plot this time.

It's one thing for critics to hate all his movies. It's another when critics hate the film AND it bombs in theaters. Almost all of Sandler's films (Except for Funny People, Little Nicky, Punch Drunk Love, 8 Crazy Nights, and Bucky Larson) at least make some profit.

The poor critical response, being rated R, and having taboo subject matter clearly didn't help. There are plenty of films that have bombed and got poor reviews, only to develop a huge cult following. I'm not saying That's My Boy will be along those lines, but to base your decision on that and that alone? Ridiculous.
