Promising Young Woman gives us a powerhouse performance by Carey Mulligan, but she's been great for years and continues to be.

I'm watching The Dig on Netflix and she's great here too.

I first saw her in An Education, and I remember it being a very good breakout role.

Never Let Me Go was another one I really liked.

I think I'll binge all her stuff.

I agree, she is excellent. I think she has a good shot at winning the Oscar this year.

I hope so. I think the film deserves best picture as well.

It's a great film. I think best picture is a toss up between Nomadland (which I haven't seen) and Trial of the Chicago 7 (my #1 of 2020).

Doubt it. Genre films don't get awards.
