Not enough of Bucky Barnes story in Civil War

Anyone out there upset about that? I don't know if Marvel is just taking it really slow, but the promise at the end of The Winter Soldier seemed to imply that the 3rd Captain America movie would really focus on Steve's search for Bucky and possible flashbacks of what Bucky had gone through during his brainwashing...I mean CW addresses some of this but not exactly in the way I was expecting. Sebastian did not have enough dialogue or screentime in this film....he is so talented, it was a shame to not have seen more of Bucky's story.....

I agree and I'm assuming that when the decision was made to adapt Civil War Bucky's time had to be cut in order to aptly establish the inclusion of additional characters and motives.

I was severely disappointed with the conclusion of his arc in the new film and hope that the creators can come up with something sensible to include him in future installments

I agree. It was a great movie but it didn't feel they stayed with the characters that mattered most Cap and Bucky. RDJ got ALOT of screen time. It felt like an avengers sequel not Cap 3. Sebastian is a really good actor and I'm hoping he'll show up in the Black Panther movie and get some well deserved screen time.

It's been confirmed he'll be in Infinity Wars. I'm not keen on the idea of him being in Black Panther and prefer he have a solo film instead.

why don't you want him to be in black panther??? black panther is a really cool character, and i'm TOTALLY looking forward to seeing bucky fight alongside him. didn't he just sign a deal for 9 more marvel films? i figure at least one will be a solo film, if not a few of them as a winter soldier series.

Because this is Black Panther's film. None of the other major franchises, Cap, Thor, Iron Man, Ant man,had to share their debut film with another major character. It would be better for Sebastian to get a solo film for himself. That way both Bucky and T'Challa will get get the story they deserve without having to share. I don't want Black Panther being hijacked by Bucky's fans either since they are highly annoying. If Bucky makes a brief cameo, (Hopefully in the mid credits) I'll be fine. But I don't want BP's first film twisted into a "Let's save Bucky" or "We need Bucky's help to defeat this villian." Besides a solo Winter Soldier film is much better than an appearance in another franchise's
film.

My thoughts exactly.

well, ant man did have falcon...it isn't as if bucky is an avenger (yet). and what's so annoying about "bucky fans"? (that's fairly offensive.) if you want t'challa to get more solo movies, then he needs as big a box office as possible. oh, and thor's movies do well because loki is in them, do you not agree? i just think buck and t'challa could have a really cool partnership, i'm in no way saying i wouldn't totally see a t'challa-only movie.

Falcon was in Antman for maybe 2 minutes total. He was fighting along side Antman and wasn't a major part of the plot. Loki is a Thor comic character so ofc he would be in a Thor film. Are you kidding me? Black Panther was one of the highlights of Civil War and he doesn't need Bucky in his movie for it to do well he has enough fans of his own. It's ignorant for you to think Black Panther should share the spotlight with Bucky because you like him. T'Challa does not need Bucky to help him fight as he's a trillionaire warrior king
martial arts expert with the power of a deity. Please! And yes, MCU Bucky fans are annoying because they are overly entitled and too obsessed with his ships.I don't care if Bucky has a small cameo in the film (Like Falcon in Antman) but to be a main character. Absolutely not. He should have his own solo movie.
