Robin Hood

just read about the casting of Archer in series 3 and the Actors name was familiar to me

I know the this actor he was in Dr who for 3 episodes and as a huge Dr who fan and was embraced very well by the Dr who fans..so much so that his scenes in 2 of his episodes were included in a recent poll on the most memorable Dr who scenes of all time

...he is great...very good casting for Robin as he is very heroic looking and imagine he is quite good at all the action stuff judging on his build etc


he is also very easy on the eye which is always a plus..


i love the fact they have chosen a lesser known quality actor rather than a silly soap star wannabe

i think Clive Standen can triumph in this role and it will not be a case of better but completely different to Jonas..which i think is an important thing to note ..the best thing they could have done is choose someone different rather than try to replace him with a clone which is 1 insulting to JA and 2 does not move the show on

i for one am very excited for the first time in this series and looking forward to a nail biting finale

This guy is Amazing...just finished watching tonight's episode. he stole the whole show...Great Actor with an effortless charm and so excited to see him finally.what a great character.you can see he has lots of sword fighting training..He made the sword fights tonight first class...wow is all i can say

i was a bit sceptical about the brother of Robin Hood and Guy of Gisbourne but i am so happy now.what a great character. and a good Actor which is a relief

cant wait to see how he fits in to the rest of the series

WOW what a new character to introduce he has everything-the bad boy charm the heroics of robin (and what would you expect from his own brother)the wit and energy and also the looks...Archer is the real prince of thieves of this series and cant wait to see what he gets up to with Isabella next week. also nice to see Guy as one of the gang. the seen where he gets thrown in the dungeon is great as he really does not know if robin will come and get him out...loved this episode..best yet!!!

Clive Standen is amazing!

I was hooked on Clive after the first 5 Min's of episode 11 of Robin hood.you just cant take your eyes of him.he has an amazing energy and is absolutely gorgeous. i hope he takes over from Jonas Armstrong in the next series he is a far Superior hero and a lot more like the Robin We all want to see on our screens .is Clive appearing in anything else on the box soon?after watching him swash buckle in York I've made my life's goal to watch every single thing that he's ever done.

the new Robin Hood!?! he is the greatest new character to join Robin Hood..he is so cool when he fliped his sword and saved guy at the end he hardly had to aim...he is so much cooler than robin..when Robin Leaves is Archer staying to take over the gang..it has to happen!!it would be so cool
