Is she a comedy newbie?

I've watched her on The Burn a few times and she seems a bit scared to jump into the three-comedian roast bit that Jeff Ross puts on midshow. She's certainly cute and funny, she just seems timid. Compare her to, say, Amy Schumer who says whatever whenever.

She's been doing comedy for about a decade...acting a little longer.

She's not a skilled comic really. She's one of those early-bird get's the worm types. She got big really off of Youtube (and her looks of course). Like a lot of other people. I would wager that she originally attempted acting and tried her hand at comedy like many striving LA stars do. She's not someone that grew up doing comedy early on a bunch of crappy roadwork and open-mics like much of your top-tier comedians Chris Rock, Louis CK, Bill Burr, Dave Chappelle, etc. So I expect a weak performance from her always. Plus her comedy style is posh offensive. Not to mention a character. Amy Schumer is better for sure, but Amy's been around that grimy comedian scene plus her humor style allows is made for the burn.

Shes been around for a while but watching some clips of her routines over the years on youtube you can see she hasnt updated her act much. Her entire career seems to consist of about 30 minutes of material.

Did you ever see the Joe Schmo show? She was on that as a fake contestant, as was a pre-SNL Kristen Wiig.
