One of the greatest child performances in film history

...in Hirokzau Koreeda's Nobody Knows. Yagira was not a professional actor when he was cast in the lead role of this heartbreaking film but he went on to win the Best Actor award at Cannes, at just fourteen the youngest actor ever so rewarded. And it is a breathtaking performance, the finest of the many wonderful child performances for which Koreeda's filmography is notable. It's a complex, difficult role and he is onscreen for almost every moment of the film. Just brilliant.

That's a weird photo of him.

It's looks like a sexualized female image. Now it looks like something a pedo would have hidden on his computer.

They should change it.

Yes, it’s weird to say the least... considering he’s nearly 30 and still acting, there must be plenty of recent headshots available - I don’t know why it’s never been updated.
