I read that his father wasn't answering his phone calls for a while. His father's generation is disgusting, the one you hipsters call "boomers" but they aren't quite. I suspect the rift they had was Harry said something about the lack of support his father gave to his mother. Good for you Harry. You are showing men how to be real men. And Meghan is so wonderful. What a lucky guy Harry is.
I am glad the rift between his father, his brother, and Kate is/ was beginning to heal, who knows the outcome of the interview. There is hurt on both sides. But honestly, you have to feel sorry for the Queen, dealing with her husband's precarious health, COVID restrictions, Andrew"s sex scandal and the drama with the Sussex's. That is a lot to deal with at 94. I hope Harry is content with not being "trapped" in the monarchy, watch what you wish for. I wish Meghan the best emotionally, although, I do think she is a bit of a drama queen. That is sad how the UK press treated her. For Pete sake, they have been married for nearly 3 years, if you can't print something nice, don't print it at all.
I think everyone needs time, space, and faith that things will get better. Down the road, who will the press pick on next?
Harry whinging about being cut off financially is beyond the pale. He’s nearly 40 years old and should be supporting himself by now. They chose to leave “the firm” and not be working royals anymore, so why should they receive money they didn’t earn?
And Meghan saying she wants an authentic life, back to basics. How’s that $11 million mansion working out for ya, Meg? Feeling basic? Feeling authentic?
I think perhaps because of this interview the Royals will finally admit to themselves that they are human and commit wrongs too and be better to Harry and Meghan and hopefully withdraw from public life and deal with their problems.
