Lied about doing all her own stunts

On her latest film. Don't care how hot she thinks she is. That is weak and pathetic.

I'm sure her legion of lovestruck nerds will want proof: http://www.goldenlasso.net/olivia-munn-takes-credit-for-xmen-stunts/

Actually, sadly, proof probably won't be enough for those morons.

A few of the articles say she declined on having the stunt woman on camera.

It is possible Olivia Munn did do every stunt seen in the film, and her stunt double did all the rigorous pretesting (involving multiple passes to get right) to make sure it was safe for the actress to do. If this is true, Olivia would be partially correct, but she probably could've given some credit to the stunt woman as well.

However, perhaps the stunt woman was not mentioned because exhaustive pretesting is just part of the business and background elements, and doesn't usually get the spotlight. I'm sure Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr. and Sandra Bullock had to do some stunts as well, but do not mention their stunt doubles who rehearse endlessly off-camera. Not mentioning does not necessarily mean these actors are trying to steal all the glory. Many people involved in the the hierarchy of the filmmaking process are not mentioned in interviews.

This is not my attempt to protect Olivia Munn. Personally, I don't care about her much and won't be watching the X-Men movie. I just don't really enjoy Bryan Singer's films. But I wanted to mention that one Twitter pic doesn't really mean we know everything that went on. From a certain point of view, Olivia Munn could actually be right here.

I'd agree with you except I found out through a major female stuntwoman who posted it. I think she'd know.

Do you know how much of the stunts she did herself made the final edit of the movie? Do you know that sometimes stunt doubles are employed to see if the requested action is safe for the actual actor to perform? Perhaps she meant it was important to her to be able to do all the stunts herself not that she didn't have a stunt double.

Do you know how retarded that sounds? Perhaps she should have her publicist write an article featuring the stunt double, versus your 'it's about me' and we swept her under the carpet by deleting all her scenes. It's disgusting.

Olivia has always been an athletic girl so I'm sure she did do some of her stunts.

But more actors should follow Tom Hardy's example. He's had the same stunt double for his last three films and promoted MM: Fury Road with him.
