He looked way too healthy to have colon cancer for 4 years
my dad had that and he had like 2 tubes inside him and looked like death the last year. this guy looked normal all throughout.

shareHe also had a damn good skin at 42, how did he die from cancer?! Fuck cancer, RIP.
shareNo, during the last year he'd lost a lot of weight, and there were rumors that he was ill.
But those rumors didnt prepare me for THIS. I'm really sad about losing him.
I wonder if the effects were showing when he filmed Da 5 Bloods? I didn't recognize him immediately because he looked somewhat thin.
But maybe that was just the look that was needed for the role idk.
Presumably he was playing an ordinary guy who didn't spend 20 hours a day at the gym, so it wouldn't do for him to have the startlingly perfect body of a superhero.
It really is astonishing how well he hid his illness, if it had been going on for four years. "Avengers: Endgame" came out just last year, and a year ago, there he was looking like he was glowing with health and physical beauty. And he only had a year left, when the film came out...
Endgame was filmed in 2017 so it was still early in his diagnosis.
shareVery upsetting to hear. RIP.
shareWhat I don't understands how he could go so long. I don’t know his medical history but generally colon cancer is treatable. If it is contained dot local tissue it is easy to remove and quality and length of life are improved, significantly. Of course, I don't know his medical situation, if there were any metastasis it would have been tough to treat but four year safo surgery should have done the trick. Naturally, he could not have done any action roles. So Balck Panther would have been out of the question.
Nevertheless I hope he rests in peace.
I’m sorry about your Dad bobbynynex.
It must have been awful to witness a loved ones decline like that.
I hope you take some solace in the fact that your Dad is no longer in any pain?
I saw photos online of Chadwick in the last 6 months and I didn’t even recognise him because he was so gaunt and had lost so much weight. I actually had to rely on the caption below the photos to tell me it was him.
Everyone journey with illness is different, and a shocking death like this of a man in his prime just goes to show that we as commentators never really know what’s going on with the people that we are commenting on.
Hopefully we can all take some measure of stock and try to be a little kinder to each other.....even if it’s only for a little while.
Boseman was young, so that might be why it didn't show how sick he really was.
