Amy Winehouse vs Adele

Amy took over for a short span, then fell from Grace. Adele went to the Top & stayed there, no comparison

Neither. They are both overrated, because the bar was set so low for singers at the time that any white female who sounded remotely soulful (black, gospel, etc.) was suddenly deemed a music diva of epic proportions, no matter how generic or unoriginal. In the 1980s, women like Taylor Dane and Lisa Steinfeld would've mopped the floor with them.

Oh, Adele is a much better singer, and songwriter and overall musician. And she's better looking, too.

But Winehouse did have a really great voice, a totally distinct sound.

Amy. I've yet to hear an Adele song I can be bothered to listen all the way through.
