Her Singing....

Much like Raven Simone its mediocre and I wish she would stop trying to sing. Don't get me wrong she can carry a tune but that is about it. Whitney Houston once said there is a difference in being able to sing and knowing how to sing. Perfect example. #noshade

At least she can sing, unlike several of her peers (see Selena Gomez).

She sounds nothing like Raven , she can sing and has been on successful soundtracks

Night at The Museum
Joyful Noise
Rags

In your opinion she can't sing. I'm a huge fan of her voice.

Keke can sing. She just needs better material to sing to. And Raven wasn't that bad either.

You lost all credibility as soon as you called Raven-Symoné's singing "mediocre".
Both Raven and Keke are exceptional vocalists.

Keke Palmer is a terrific singer! But needs two things - decent songs to sing and record producers that aren't 100% clueless. She proved how beautifully she could sing in Joyful Noise. The soundtrack was 100% better than than the movie itself. She released a new VD a few months back and I immediately went over to You Tube to check out her first single - which was absolutely horrid! Horrid because the record producers chose to put all of this techno pop crap in the recording which completely masked her beautiful voice. After about 45 seconds of it, I was outta there! Just listen to the way she sang "Maybe I'm Amazed" and "Man In The Mirror" in Joyful Noise with Jeremy Jordan. Both covers are wonderful. The producers of the film allowed her to sing and she sang beautifully, Too bad her inept record producers didn't.

I'm with you on that, mediocre at best

"Mediocre at best"? Keke Palmer is a BROADWAY PERFORMER.

Fox even threw in musical number left out of Grease just to showcase Palmer's voice.

Palmer can sing circles around several of today's most popular recording artists.
She sings from her diaphragm, has a nice, rapid vibrato, and a broad range.

C'mon, guys. Let's at least have a valid frame of reference before we discredit a singer that can actually vocalize rather than just carry a tune and chirp simple melodies. At this rate, chick will be a Brandy or Jojo (Think I'm playin'! Check them out if you haven't in recent years. They've acquired a HUGE deal of skill in their time out of the spotlight.)
