Patsies fans seem to believe that since the NFL didnt strike them from the record books, that means they didnt cheat. The fact is the commissioners job is partially to protect the integrity of the sport but each sport has their own scandal which was covered up by the commissioner;

-the 1999 Stanley Cup was won off an illegal cup winning goal with Brett Hull having his foot in the crease (at the time the rules stated the goal should have been disallowed). The league lied and tried to make up a fake possession rule which never existed.
-the NBA has had 2; Michael Jordan breaking the gambling rules is believed to have a quiet suspension to avoid the embarassment of the leagues most popular player being involved in succh a scandal. Also the Tim Donaghty scandal was downplayed and he was thrown under the bus as a rogue official but no games were changed despite the knowledge he was fixing games and pretty much everyone knowing star players have immunity
-the MLB refusing to strike players whom are on steroids from the record books.
