For all those sad individuals who waste energy cursing and hating upon Redmayne for winning an Oscar. For those who say Keaton should have won or who write off Redmayne's career going forward. There was once a relative unknown actor called Daniel Day-Lewis who, only a year younger than Redmayne, won his first Oscar (My Left Foot) and is now one of the greatest actors of all time and currently the only and first to win 3.

Walter Brennan won 3, the last of which was in 1940....before Lewis was even born.
Katharine Hepburn won 4... all well before Lewis
Ingrid Bergman won 3... once again well before Lewis
Meryl Streep won 3.... again before Lewis.
Daniel Day Lewis has been fantastic in several movis, but far to many of his fans take the whole thing way to far. Good? Yes. Great? Occasionally. The best ever? LOL no.
As for Redmayne, I felt he fully deserved the Oscar for Theory of Everything. He was fantastic.
