......not a coincidence, just the same routine with actors to keep their career going and appeal to fans.
_______________

Just like Cumberbatch and his recent "beard" wife by his side. Thinking about it, Redmayne and Cumberbatch would make a nice couple.

David Bowie made a claim he was 'gay', in the early 70's, then made a claim that he was 'bisexual', then regretted it and claimed later he was a 'closet heterosexual'. The regret, has given him away.

This was an alleged statement by Bowie: "....had a compulsion to flout moral codes than a real biological and psychological state of being." He blamed the times and situations he was in, rather than his own feelings. Unless he was drug induced and his mind was confused and cloudy, I would say he decided to go the 'safe' route, for PR. I don't doubt that Bowie is 'bi'; but he is not to my mind, an innate 'hetero'. All his simpleminded sheep fans would have been saying....see he's not really gay after all. These celebrities are only fooling themselves and not everyone. Fortunately for them, the majority of their fans are just as conceited and deluded as they are.

Redmayne, is now attributing his acting skills to life and this is the biggest part he is going to have to play.

Except for the fact he's been with the same girl since college. For us Londoners, seeing him around with his now wife is not uncommon. I spotted them outside the Old Vic when Kim Cattrall was starring in Sweet Bird of Youth. So no, not gay :)
