Chris' picture in 'Green Hornet'?

In the scene where EJO'character is trying to talk with Brit Reid about the repercussions of writing some particular articles, around half way through the movie, they look at a picture of a dead reporter, "Daniel Vertlier".

Isn't he Chris O'Dowd?
They look at him two times so I was expecting to see him in the movie... but no Chris, just this strange picture. What do you think?

Nope, doesn't look anything like him. Sure that guy has pale skin and some facial hair, but thats all.

Saw the Green Hornet DVD the other night, just after seeing Bridesmaids, and I thought the same thing. Didn't see anything here on IMDB

According to IMDB, Daniel Vertlieb was played by Theodore Bressman. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm4237558/

It's his only credit on the site.

Yeah I can definitely see the resemblance, but their eyes are rather different.

so weird. i JUST watched that part in the film and rushed on imdb to check. different credited actor but i TOTALLY thought it was him too!
