O'Dowd is a genuine box office draw; Bay couldn't lay a glove on him even if he wanted to.

A genuine box office draw? He has yet to even headline a film, and those of which he has co-starred in have been inconsistent at best (for every Bridesmaids, there's a Friends with Kids).
Bay, love him or hate him, has only had one genuine flop in his career. His three Transformers movies have made over a couple billion dollars worldwide. I'd say he could certainly 'lay a glove' on O'Dowd.
