just random...but religion...?
anyone know which one he was brought up with?
shareconsidering his name is o'dowd, and he's from roscommon in ireland, you can presume that he was born catholic.
most of us irish are.
Err, all kids are born without religion, it's usually their parents who then decide to claim them for a particular faith. Chris was born an atheist, as all kids are, no belief in God whatsoever.
Oh, and I'm also from Ireland, and I have no religion.
you're not an athiest, just a bad Catholic.
shareand you're really arrogant for telling someone what they are or are not.
"I am not worried, Harry...I am with you."
it should go without saying, but it was a joke. Actually a joke from Dara O'Brien too. It goes something like this:
"I'm not religious in that i'm an athiest, i don't believe in god... still a catholic. You don't ever stop being a catholic. You're not an athiest, just a verrry bad catholic"
Err, all kids are not born atheists - you have to have knowledge of something to decide whether or not you believe in it - babies have no knowledge of God unless and until their parents choose to educate them in that respect. And get off your high horse and take a chill pill - the OP was just asking a question - didn't ask for a lecture about whether or not God exists. If you didn't like the question, ignore the post.

Well said. There are few people more uptight than the intolerant atheists among us.
How are you an atheist when you cannot understand the concept? That's like saying that you are born believing air is a lie. No, you just do not know what it is. You do not recognize what is before you. There is a stark difference.
