She doesn't look anything like Ellie, but she's certainly a good enough actress to give a commendable performance. Is a 'The Last Of Us' movie confirmed?

I just don't know who would play a good Ellie and yea they are making a last of us movie

As another said - she would be good for the performace part but she is wrong in other ways. For a start she is way too old for that role now and she doesn't even bare the slightest resemblance to Ellie now. I'm not someone that needs an actor to look exactly like the character (other factors are more important) but their has to be some kind of similarity, something in the looks of the actor that can be transferred to the character. AnnaSophia doesn't have that for Ellie.

Maisie Williams is a hot favourite and she said she'd been in talks with people, but no official word yet. Again, she would do a great job, she has the height and her looks are in the right area to play her. But, at 17, I actually think she might still be a little too old. I know Hollywood always casts older but they should go for someone slightly older than Ellie is, around the 14-16 area, not well into their 17's (probably 18's by the time it gets filmed).
