After seeing the room I thought he was just an incredibly inept and arrogant moron without the slightest clue of how to tell a coherent story. But now that I've seen The House that Dripped Blood on Alex and I have to wonder if he may actually have something wrong with his brain. I thought it was hilarious but I wonder if I should feel bad for laughing at him now.

shareI'm pretty sure he's got *some form* of mental retardation. There's a limit to how dumb, completely disconnected and generally otherworldly you can be without entering the realms of pathology.
There's clearly something "wrong" there, as opposed to him being totally normal but just unbelievably dumb and non-lucid.

Anyone who says this knows nothing about autism. On a huge spectrum one thing that is pretty much a given with autism is a stellar memory. Tommy couldn't remember one simple line to save his life. Not sure why people ignorantly attribute something like autism to almost any type of weird social behaviour.
